During our off-season, we’ve had the privilege to do some commercial work for Taylor University. They wanted to emphasize the strong community demonstrated through personal interactions between faculty, staff, and students. We were hired to capture these relationships as part of the case for support of a new campus center facility.

I met with this adorable family during my Fall Family Day in Columbus in October. They requested that I keep their gallery a secret since they were using their photos as Christmas presents. It’s January. I’m sitting at my computer, shivering and drinking tea. I could use a little sunshine in my life today. I think these pictures are a good substitute!
It’s not too often that a photographer gets to be the one photographed. We had the privilege of spending time with a dear friend, Molly of Molly Bea Photography this weekend in Michigan. She spent a few minutes taking pictures with us before we headed back home to Indiana and captured us perfectly, I think. Here’s a little snapshot of my little family!
I intentionally spend time during the winter months with two adorable little people. I put my camera away, let my desk pile up, and attempt to organize my life. Instead of looking through my camera lens you’ll find me trying new Pioneer Woman recipes, watching Little House on the Prairie with my daughter, attempting to capture the highest scores on Just Dance 4, organizing my son’s Legos with him, and wearing lovely overall snow pants on the sledding hill.
