A fall wedding in Brown County…a beautiful bride and groom….their adorable daughter… months planning perfect details….
We were excited for this wedding, folks, and we knew it was a perfect wedding to wrap up our 2015 wedding season. Mother Nature had other things in mind, but what I appreciated was that Alex and Blythe let everything roll off their shoulders. They didn’t care that the heavy rain began right before their first look and portaits. They didn’t care that there was insane traffic on the way to the ceremony. They were getting MARRIED and that was reason to CELEBRATE!
Here’s a glimpse at their wedding day story at Rawhide Ranch…
Because of the rain, we choose to have Alex and Blythe’s first look in the barn where their reception would take place (and if you’re keeping track of how many weddings we’ve shot in the rain, please don’t. Let’s just say we’re rather experienced in this area!).We adored the fabric flowers made by Cultivar.Troy and I know our job is not just to take beautiful pictures but to capture stories. We’re truly honored to be a part of a wedding day– to be invited into a couple’s celebration and experience intimate moments that are only shared with family and close friends. When Blythe surprised Alex with a live performance of “Faithfully (Journey)” sung by Jesse Kramer, I was speechless. It was perfect.
Alex and Blythe, thank you for trusting us to tell your story, and thank you for your positive, easy going attitudes. Many, many blessings to the three of you!
