The first time I spoke with Liz on the phone, I instantly felt connected to her. She’s so thoughtful and sweet and meeting Hunter was just icing on the cake. I was thrilled to photograph their Newfields engagement session, I hadn’t personally been on the property and oh my! There were so many beautiful places that I felt like a kid in a candy store!
How they met:
“Hunter and I met on Bumble actually. A few days after we connected, we went on our first date. We went to Siam Square and had the best pad thai and curry. After dinner, we went to Hotel Tango for a warm seasonal cocktail and some good conversations on the couch by the fireplace. It was super romantic and totally not planned! I’ve learned while dating Hunter he’s not really a planner (haha)! It was a perfect first date!”
Fast forward a little over a year…
Their Engagement Story:
“Hunter told me we were going to Nashville, IN to ride horses with a partner in his law firm, which was a rain date from the year before. As we were pulling into Nashville, Hunter asked if we could stop at The Chocolate Moose to share a treat before finishing the drive. I’ve learned Hunter has a huge sweet tooth so I wasn’t surprised and said yes. We pulled into the parking lot and immediately two police officers blocked us in. One of the officers came up to Hunter’s window and said the vehicle we were in had been reported stolen! He asked Hunter to get out of the vehicle and walk around to the back of the jeep. I was freaking out at this point! The second officer came up to my window next and asked me to also step out of the vehicle as well. He walked me around to the back of the jeep and that’s when I saw Hunter down on one knee. I was SO surprised. The best part of it all was my family and Hunter’s family were inside and got to witness the whole thing! It was so awesome and I said YES!”
We can’t wait to be a part of their November wedding at The Sanctuary on Penn!
