Trevor and Hannah | Palais Royale Wedding | Traci and Troy

Their Palais Royale wedding was a “2020’s take” on the 1920’s. Using the art deco style and atmosphere of the venue as a major influence on their theme, Trevor and Hannah created a wedding that was unique, fun, and meaningful!

The Couple

“I first knew of Trevor when his mom was my 8th grade math teacher. His mom kept telling me how much she wanted me to date her son, but I wasn’t allowed to date until high school:) I heard his name here and there throughout high school since he played football and I cheered; I always knew he was a good guy based on stories his friends shared with me. Our junior year of high school we had some mutual friends who were dating and they suggested to Trevor that he call me. His mom had been telling him to do it for years:) We went on a date to Olive Garden, he asked me to be his girlfriend, and we’ve been best friends for the past 8 years:)”

The Wedding

“Our ceremony was at the church I have gone to my whole life. It is also where I work and attend Mass twice a week with my class, and where Trevor and I got engaged:) Trevor was baptized there about 5 years ago as well. Our faith is the absolute center of our lives, so there was never a doubt we wanted to be married in a church and bring our favorite people together in one of our favorite places. Our wedding colors compliment wintery hues with remnants of the Christmas season. In the Church, our wedding falls on the last day of the Christmas season so our ceremony will include Christmas tunes and lighted trees behind the altar. Trevor and I have both been deemed “old souls” our entire lives. We both have an interest in the culture, music, and ELEGANCE of the past. The overall feel of our wedding is ‘the new roaring 20’s.’ It is our own take on the art deco and eclectic style of the 1920’s, but now transformed in the 2020’s. We had our heart set on that theme since before we were engaged, so once we saw the Palais in person (established in 1922) it became the perfect choice!”

Here’s a few of our favorites from their day!

Palais Royale Wedding Reception

I’m a fan of black and white photos at times, but I admit that I loved the black and white look on this entire wedding, but especially the reception. I think it’s because of the time of year… and the rain….and the classy, 1920’s vibe…

Trevor and Hannah, we were honored to be a part of your day. Blessings to you as you begin your marriage!
